What Do LLI Attendees Say?

I have already created one screencast and prepared for the use of Kahoot in my classroom this year. A colleague highly recommended downloading Courtnay Veazey's PPTs and information she provided online for us to become familiar with SELs and I am so grateful to have these. I will be using the Selfie Adventure to kickstart the school year and get my 6th grade English language learners thinking right from the start about responsible use of digital activities and their digital footprints!
I really enjoyed having time to actually practice any new ideas before leaving the session.
Enjoyed the sessions.
Enjoyed the sessions and learned a lot about how Google tools can help in the classroom and also learned some new activities to use in my science classes.
I enjoyed the sessions and learned many new things that I plan to use in my classroom.
Chelsey Hooper and Julie King are amazing, great sessions
The conference was terrific! There was a good variety of topics for all of the different sessions. The facilities were great. I especially enjoyed bother the opening keynote speaker and the closing speaker. Both inspired and challenged me and pumped me up for the beginning of the school year.
I enjoyed every minute of the conference. I spent a lot of time with Mrs. Bullard and Mr. Manker in the Lower School Makerspace. They were collegial, funny, kind, warm, and extremely knowledgeable. I look forward to receiving the link for all of the sessions to continue my learning about ways to integrate technology into every classroom. Thank you very much for all your hard work!
I found all of the sessions to be very helpful especially when we had a chance to try out some of the hands-on ideas that presenters were using in their classrooms.
Excellent Quality! Thanks for a great job!
I was only able to attend the second day. Wish I'd had the opportunity to be there on Monday to glean more insights, information and networking opportunities. Thanks for hosting.
I loved it!
The opening and closing sessions were amazing. I loved the opportunity to learn from these professionals in additional sessions as well.
All the sessions that I attended were relevant. And there were some I wanted to attend but were at the same time. So hard to choose.
I found the SEL and tech sessions I attended especially helpful.
I loved all of the SEL sessions I attended. They were extremely relevant to my classroom and school.
I enjoyed all the sessions I attended but sometimes wished I could be in two places.
They were great!
These sessions were great! Well paced.
I particularly enjoyed "Discovery and Empathy Building" and "12 Questions for Building a Gamified Course". The concepts were very clearly explained and modeled. The speakers were knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and help. "We Video" with Heather Clagett was a great session as well - she shared audio and video recordings of her student sample assignments, which were amazing.
I see the potential of Screencasting and WeVideo for use with my ELs to be extremely beneficial -- effective and efficient ways of providing directions to online tasks without the need for the instructor to be right there with them.
The maker space is amazing!!! Love what you are going with the Lausanne students!
I would definitely attend an LLI event in the future. Very informative on the future of education.
This is my second time at the conference and I enjoyed it even more. I always appreciate the great diversity of the conference offerings.
I thoroughly enjoyed and learned through the sessions that were provided by the Lausanne staff. In addition, they were very cordial and informative.
Loved the opening reception and makerspaces
Really enjoyed and learned a lot.
I appreciated that the size of the conference was not so large that you felt like you were missing something or that you were crowded in the sessions.
Thank you for hosting this great event!
Thanks so much!! It was a great experience, as usual!!
I enjoyed the experience and can't wait until next year.
