Learning & Innovation Fund for Educators (LIFE) Grant

Crosstown High School and Lausanne Learning have joined with local philanthropists to create the Learning & Innovation Fund for Educators (LIFE) grant. These grants are for Shelby County teacher teams to both learn and implement their learning in order to improve their classrooms on behalf of students.

This grant provides the following to teams of 3 to 8 teachers:

  1. Free attendance at LLI Memphis on July 9-10,2018 (two days of professional development)
  2. A grant for implementation / continued implementation of a classroom project in the school year 2018-19 (this can apply to a current ongoing project or a new project at your school)

  • includes the use of technology, and/or project based learning, and/or real world learning
  • develops curriculum to a higher level, develops new curriculum units, develops new technology applications, and/or develops student leadership in the classroom

Team grants may be used for any materials that can be demonstrated to further the team’s objectives. The team grant is $270 per team member (3 to 8 members).
