2019 Spotlight School Award

Lausanne Learning is delighted to announce that Madison-Ridgeland Academy in Madison, MS has been awarded the 2019 Spotlight School Award, signifying an achievement in providing innovative learning strategies, programs, and spaces for improving education. Madison-Ridgeland Academy was chosen specifically for their commitment to teacher development and empowerment, creating a culture of community and engagement among their students, faculty, and staff, and their dedication throughout the school to never stop learning. As Spotlight School, they will also present a series of workshops this summer at Lausanne Learning: Teach Tech at University of Memphis (July 25-26).

Lausanne Learning has worked closely with Madison-Ridgeland Academy for several years through professional development conferences, peer-to-peer consulting and, in 2018, partnering with the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) to host a teacher conference at Madison-Ridgeland Academy where nearly 450 teachers came together to learn and share. This conference, Lausanne Learning: Mississippi - Innovation in Action, will return to Madison-Ridgeland Academy on December 5-6, 2019.
